The other day I found the perfect paint color. I was scrolling through Instagram when I happened upon a Photo Nan Phillps shared of her old apartment. The color on the wall struck me. It is a peachy pink color that is light and bright. I knew it would look perfect on the wall in my Grandmillenial bedroom design as soon as I saw it. The color is soothing and pairs with my Liberty London print duvet cover, navy blue dresser, white bed, and side tables. How to pick a beautiful paint color for your bedroom.

Picking out a beautiful paint color for my bedroom took some time. At first, I wanted a turquoise accent wall, but I soon realized it did not go well with the rest of the room. That is when I started searching Pinterest for Paint color inspiration.

Pinterest is a great place to look for home inspiration. There are many decor categories; you can look for specific criteria like bedrooms or even Grandmillenial bedrooms. It is a great place to get inspired. Another place to find beautiful color inspiration is Real Simple magazine. Each month they share paint colors and home items that pair well together.
Another way you can make sure a paint color will look good on your wall is to get paint samples. Get a few paint samples put on your wall, and then see what they look like in different lights throughout the day. Tring out a sample will help you paint a whole room and not like it and waste money. One other tip I have is to use a color theory wheel. It can help show you what colors compliment each other. Here is a link to one I like. I hope these tips for picking a bedroom paint color will help you find the perfect color.

Painting Tips (How to Pick a Beautiful Color for Your bedroom and 4 painting tips):
- Use a drop cloth. So you don’t get paint on the floor
2. Edge your wall first. It will make it easier to paint the wall and will not get any paint on the ceiling
3. Use a think coat of paint (if you use a thick coat, it will get runny and could get gloppy. It will also dry faster)
4. Wait 24 hours for the paint to dry before putting furniture back
