I am happy to see how much you enjoyed the first post in the single series. The single series is a labor of love and experience from my own single life.
How to Navigate Online Dating Successfully:
Part of navigating the single life is learning how to navigate online dating as a woman. I have been working hard at dating. Taking any chance, I get to swipe through each one of the dating apps. I feel the more apps you are on, the more successful you will be at finding someone. The thing that makes it easy is you can use a simelor profile on each app. So when signing up, it will take less time.

My Bumble Profile
Yes, dating can be a little work and time, but if you want to find someone to date, you will make it a priority and make the time. For example, I have been using the evenings while watching tv as a time to swipe. It is a good time because I am mindlessly watching tv. This is one of the ways how to navigate online dating successfully.

When deciding which apps I wanted to use, it took a little research and talking with friends to pick the right one. I feel it is essential to choose the right apps to fit your needs. With this, I decided to use a few apps to spread out where I was looking. I will share later what apps I use and why.
When creating a dating profile, you should use photos that show you doing some fun activities. They should be of you and not a group of people. You can use some up-close photos, but it is best to use pictures that show all of you. Also, it is good to use a few photos to share various pictures.

When writing a profile, you should talk about what you like to do and what you are looking for but not make your profile too long. Many dating sites will ask a question. The more you answer, the more throw your profile will be.

OkCupid Profile
Once you have finished your profile, you can then narrow down what you are looking for. It is imperative not to be too picky because you might limit yourself to matches. Setting a wide enough distance will also give you a better chance of finding more matches. There is no exact distance (I do between 50-75 miles). The wider the net you cast, the more options you can have.

As for the dating sites, I use a bunch. I am on Jdate, Match, Hinge, Bumble, Ok Cupid, and Tinder. You may want to be on less if you find this overwhelming. It is totally fine to be on a few. However, I tried to cast my net farther, so I decided to go on a bunch.

How to Navigate Online Dating
Each of the Dating Sites:
Jdate:
is a Jewish-specific dating site. Jdate could be a good site if you are looking for someone also Jewish. There are also sites specifically for those faiths if you are of a different religion. I wanted to be on Jdate because I hope to find someone who believes in the same values and beliefs as me.
Match:
With Match, you can be as specific as you like with what you are looking for. For example, you can put in an age range, distance, and religion you are looking for. You can also put if you want kids and if the person you are looking for has been married before.
Hinge:
is similar to Match. You can put in what criteria you are looking for. On Hinge, you can add an answer to a question and have a voice recording of your answers if you want.
Bumble:
Has a variety of options. You can use it to find friends, a date, or people to work with. They do an excellent job at helping you figure out what you are looking for.
OkCupid:
Like the other sites lets you specify what you are looking for. However, you only get a few specifications if you use them for free. If you pay, you can get more options. (I do not pay for it and think it works fine)
Tinder:
I know what you think Tinder is for hookups. Some people are on there for that, but most people are not. I have a friend who knows someone who met their husband on it. So you never know. That is why I decided to go on Tinder.
