I have a love-hate relationship with running. I run to raise money for charity, exercise, and the fun of the races. There are days that running can be a struggle or days I don’t want to get out of the house and run. But I know if I don’t get out and run, I will not run my best race. A good running playlist will help motivate you to get out and run.

Running has brought me a group of friends like no other. Most of the people I run with also have Crohn’s or Colitis. It is nice to have people I can run with and also talk with about my disease. Finding a running partner or group can help motivate you to want to run.

It is also essential to have a good running playlist that motivates you to get out and run. When I make a running playlist, I always pick favorite fun songs that are upbeat and make you want to dance. I find it helpful to change up your running playlist every so often so you don’t get tired of it. I also add some cool-down songs at the end. The cool-down songs I pick are calmer, usually a bit slower. I listen to these while I run and do some stretches at the end of my run. I am excited to share with you the ultimate running playlist.
