You all know I am in the middle of a crazy time. I am trying to get a bunch of work done to spend some family time in the next two weeks. So I wanted to take a moment to share my classic (evergreen) skirt. I have had this skirt for a few years. It comes back in-store year after year. So that is why I am calling it my evergreen skirt. Have you all heard of evergreen content? Well, it is content that is relevant year after year. This skirt is like that.
Fall is always a good time of the year for me. It is a season I love. Also, I always seem to get a lot more collaborations. So it winds up being a little busier than the rest of the year. I love fall because of the fall looks and the temperature change (colder out ). I can’t forget to mention the changing leaves. They sprinkle the world with color.
When it falls, I get this feeling I can’t describe. It is the feeling of wanting to pull out my fall clothes. Every year I have the staple pieces I have been wearing for years.
One of those pieces is an elastic waist wool skirt from the Jcrew factory. They bring it back each year (I have linked it to my LTK). Usually, they do it in different colors, but it is always the same style. I love pulling this skirt out each fall. It pairs great with a sweater, button-down, or long sleeve shirt. I also like wearing them with boots, white sneakers, or flats. All three of these shoes look great with a pair of tights or bare legs (depending on the temperature). What could be a better piece of clothing!
