It’s my birthday tomorrow! How have I taken another trip around the sun! Not sure since this year feels like it flew by but was slow all simultaneously. I am not doing anything too exciting for my birthday. I will paint pottery with a friend, and then Saturday, I am headed to Philly to spend some time with my family. It will be nice to have family time since I have not seen them since Thanksgiving.
I always look forward to all the great goodies I get during my birthday month. Did you know that some stores do freebies for your birthday? Yup! Jcrew has $25.00; Madewell does too. Starbucks and Dunks do a free drink. At Jamba Juice, you can get a free smoothie. Sephora does an excellent sample of your choice from their birthday samples. I even saw on a TikTok that Jersy Mikes does a free sandwich (I might need to try them). My favorite of the Birthday goodies is 50% off one item at Kendra Scott.
I love Kendra Scott. She has the prettiest jewelry that fits anyone’s taste and budget. Most of her pieces come in silver, gold, or rose gold. She even has some fine jewelry pieces. I can’t get over how well her pieces have held up and how times they are. Over the past few years, I have bought a few of her pieces. I always have trouble deciding what to get, and this year is no exception. There are so many great spring pieces, from bracelets to earrings. I am a gold or rose gold fan, so that you will see more of that. But don’t worry, all the pieces I have picked come in silver.
Over the past few years, Kendra Scott has been adding more stores, making it easier to see her pieces in person. I have a long necklace with a variety of gemstones in different shapes. I get so many compliments on it. It is the perfect piece to finish off a look. I love how easy it is to through any one of her pieces and walk out of the house looking put together.
You could wear her pieces more dressed up for a wedding, out for drinks, or dinner. They are perfect to wear to the office or on a zoom call—another great thing about her pieces. Especially the earnings I have from her, is they are lightweight. I know some people have trouble wearing jewelry that is too heavy. These pieces are perfect for them.
Her pieces also make great presents. My mom got a necklace for a friend who is not a big jewelry wearer. Let me tell you, she fell and love with the piece and has not taken it off. Kendra Scott jewelry is the perfect present for bridal parties, Mothers Day, and holiday presents. I wanted to share all the pieces I am deciding between for my birthday pieces.
