The holidays are a magical time filled with lights, candles, special foods, friends, and family and filled with holiday parties and get-togethers. I love going to as many holiday parts as I can. I enjoy getting to see friends and family. I know putting together a part entails planning and execution of the plan. I am so appreciative of the person hosting the party since I know how much work goes into it. I think it is essential to thank that person if it is in a small way.
When I attend a party or dinner, I like to bring the host a present to thank them for having me. Ettiquette expert Emily Post says, “A gift is a lovely way to thank your host for their hospitality. Always appreciated, it doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive; consider the nature of the occasion and local custom when making your choice.” I love how thoughtful this is. When I throw a party, I know I love getting a little something like a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine, or an adorable kitchen towel.
I wanted to share some host gifts that would be perfect for you all to give this holiday season. There is something for everyone. Any host would cover these items.
PS- I have another holiday gift guide for the woman in your life.
Xoxo- Nikki
