Summer is here, and this past week, my best friend and her kids came to Boston for the summer. She lives full-time in NYC but works at a camp in the Boston area. I am so excited to have her here and all the fun adventures we will take this summer. We are planning Outdoor movie nights, beach days, touristy things, and trips to New Hampshire and Maine. ( I will share another post with our summer bucket list. In case you are looking for something to do this summer).

Earrings / Striped Shirt / Bracelets / Navy Blue Shorts / Sandals
We have started planning everything we want to do, and the first thing is the 4th of July. I can’t believe the 4th of July is in just over a week. It has crept up on me, probably because I have been anxiously awaiting my best friend coming and have been focusing on that. Since the 4th crept up on me, I am looking for last-minute styles for the 4th of July. If you are also in the same boat, I am sharing some looks that you can run out to the store to find or pieces you can throw together from your closet.

Earrings / Top / Shorts
It is easy to put together a 4th outfit since most of us have at least one piece of clothing that is red, white, or blue. For me, the blue part is easy. I have some blue shorts and tops. I even have a blue dress. Most of you, too, might have a variety of blue clothing pieces. So starting with that you can get a pair of red earrings and a white shirt. I would wear a white v-neck t-shirt, red crab or lobster earrings, and navy blue shorts. Another great look would be a red, white, and blue striped shirt from here, with blue shorts and red accent jewelry. Another classic look could be a blue Nap dress with white sandals and, once again, red jewelry or a clutch. There are so many last-minute looks you can put together for the 4th.
