Happy New Year, friends! I can’t believe it is the new year and glad 2021 is over. I am ready for a new year filled with new adventures, beginnings, and growth. This morning I spent a few hours with my girlfriend’s content planning, discussing our goals for the year and our word for the year (Hello, 2022, and my word of the year). It was so fun to catch up and have others to plan with.

This year I found it easy to come up with a word. I have been on a growth journey for the past year, and I am still growing this year. I am growing as a person, growing my socials, and growing the world around me. I know this year is going to be my year. This is the year I find my groove that will bring me to where I am supposed to be.
I also love creating a mood board visually sharing my goals. When I visually share my goals and then put them somewhere, I will see them. It helps me engrain them in my head and keeps me on track to reach my goals. My friend makes hers online and then puts it as her screen saver. I am going to do that this year. I also want to share some tips on picking out a word and creating a mood board for the year. I hope you enjoy these and can’t wait to hear what your word of the year is.

Word of the Year:

How to pick your world of the year:
- Write down your goals for the year.
- Create a list of words that coincide with your goals
- Narrow down the list by deciding three words that fit you
- Then narrow it down to the one word you would like to achieve
How to create a mood board for the year:
- Go on Pinterest and/or google search and look up things you would like to achieve for the year (something like a new car, travel, marriage, etc.). If you want to get married, you can use a picture of a ring; a car, find a picture of the car you want, and so on.
- Next, put them in a graphic program like Canva and title it, mood board, for 2022
- save and place it where you will see it
You can also create one by:
1. cutting out pictures from magazines and pictures you find online
2. get cardboard and glue and glue the pictures to it.
3. Title it
