As my parents and I were out for a walk the other day, it started flurrying. I could tell it was going to snow. The sky was a light gray, the air had a chill to it, and there was that clean, crisp smell of snow. I love that feeling and smell of that first snow. It makes me so happy.

This is my favorite women’s winter Coat. It is cozy, comfortable and keeps me warm all winter (It Smells Like Snow The Perfect Winter Coat)
Last year I spent every moment I could outside. I am hoping to do that again this year. Last year every moment I could, I went on a walk, hike, or coffee date outside. When I was little, I would be out playing in the snow until my fingers turned blue. I know I am unique in that way, and not everyone can spend that much time outdoors without the proper winter gear.

I have a few winter coats for different activities. I have a dressier coat and a long puffer coat perfect for colder temperatures and long periods outside. The other night I went to a book reading. I wore my light brown Jcrew Car coat. The Jcrew car coat is a wool coat with a collar covering your neck and zipper closure. It comes in regular, petite, and tall. This is important when picking out a coat because it helps the shoulders to sit in the right place, the length of the sleeves, and where the coat hits at the bottom. This LLBean women’s winter coat I am wearing in these photos is temperature-rated and will get you through the coldest days outside. I am 5’3 It hits me right above the knee. With a sweater or sweatshirt, I am warm for hours.

My other coat is an LLbean is a long puffer coat with a hood. It is temperature rated and comes in S, M, or L. This coat is perfect for long periods outside. Last year I wore it all winter for walks, hikes, and coffee with friends outdoors. It kept me warm for hours. I love that it does.
PS- Here are some other great jackets that you will look stylish in and stay warm all winter.
Xoxo- Nikki
