Time Change means spring might be coming
About a week ago, it finally got warmer. I know it won’t last, but I will relish it while I can. With the weather getting warmer and the time changing, could it mean spring is coming? I know the stores have started putting out their spring collections, which is getting me excited. Some of the collections I am digging this season are Lilly Pulitzer, Vineyard Vines, Sail to Sables, Jcrew, and Old Navy. Lilly’s collection has her signature bright colors and fun patterns. Some of my favorite items are the Delia shift dress, Houston sleeveless top, Harper maxi skirt, and Lona Shell (love the buttons on the back). The Vineyard Vines classically preppy collection is showing off their classic styles, patterns and colors that I love about there brand. Some of my favorite items from there collection are Scribble Lattice sleeveless dress, Multi Gingham shep shirt, Nantucket colored ankle jeans, and Whale Embroidered Day Boat shorts. The Sail to Sable brand is a newer collection to me. Their tunic tops and dresses make me think spring. There springy patterns and colors make me smile. Some of the items I like from their collection are the Centerpiece Peacoat maxi dress, the Twistin top. Another brand I am enjoying this spring and my friend is drooling over is Jcrew’s collection. Their collection always has a sense of modern but classical style. Some of the items I really like from their collection are the Floral Foulard short, the Swoop dress in Latticework Medallion , Emma studded-toe fabric ballet flat . One other collection I am digging is the one from Old Navy. Now Old Navy’s collection is perfect because you can intersperse their items with you higher end pieces. Their collection has classic styles with modern twists. Some of the items I like from their collection are the Pixi skinny ankle pants, the Chambray button-front shirtdress. I hope you find some of these items inspire you to think spring.
