Surprise Birthdays, Brunch and Newbury St.
First off, I would like to apologize for not posting in a while. Things have been busy with training for the Jamestown, RI half, work and my other volunteer commitments. This past weekend, I pulled off the best and only surprise I have been able to pull off, since I am not good at surprises. Last week, my good friend, Jenna turned 30 and she told me no one would do anything exciting for her birthday. Well, she was sorely mistaken. Last week, I said to Jenna “hey you want to hang out on Sunday?” (knowing full well that I had brunch and Newbury St. planned and that some of the other girls were coming too). On Sunday, I picked her up at her house and then said I left something at school (knowing full well that we were meeting our friends there). We got to the parking lot at school and Jenna says, “why is Lisa’s car here?” I pulled next to Lisa’s car and said, “get in”. We drive to brunch, with Jenna not knowing what was going on. She was thoroughly surprised.
