Pretty in Pink, Green, Yellow and Blue….
I had the most wonderful morning when I visited the Pink Parkway, a Lilly Pulitzer store. The owner Maggie was so wonderful to let me come in and explore all the amazing items. I had such a fun experience finding out about her, why she opened her store and what she hopes for the future of her store.
It was so hard to figure out what I wanted to try on since everything in the spring collection is so cute. I tried on a lot of fun, really classic Lilly pieces. There were two pieces I really liked the most. One a classic shift dress with a flower print that had fun bright colors and the back zipper was gold and had a palm tree. On either side of the zipper was a beautiful circular ribbon embellishment. The second dress I really liked was another sift dress that is a simple cotton material with a flower and shell pattern in blues. I liked both dresses because you can dress them up, dress them down and you can also accessorizes them many different ways.
While I was in the store a few different people came in to shop. It was nice getting to watch Maggie work. She greeted every customer like she knew them and they were old friends. If she did not have what they needed she knew right away how to get it. I love shopping in stores where I feel warm and welcomed. I feel Maggie exemplifies what a Lilly girl should be. She is very knowledgable about all the pieces in her store and was able to tell me about the new summer collection that is coming out in a few weeks. I really enjoyed hearing about how she has loved Lilly since she was young. I feel a lot of Lilly girls have that quality.
When you walk in the Pink Parkway the first thing you notice is all the fun colors, patterns and furniture in bright pinks, blues, greens and yellows ( I wish I could decorate my house like that ). All of the clothes are perfectly placed by pattern and style. She has a table with shorts on it that are sorted by size. Maggie put the sizes right on the table using vinel numbers. How smart! I encourage everyone to head to The Market place in Lynnfield to visit the Pink Parkway, for a fun and wonderful experience. Thank you Maggie for the visit and Happy shopping!
