Dress up to Volunteer….
Picture yourself walking into the grandest art museum. Where the annual gala to support your favorite charity is being held. I got the opportunity to dress up, volunteer and support one of my favorite foundations (The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation New England chapter). Every year they have Food and Wine event (The F.E.T). This is their biggest event of the year. All the money raised from this event goes to support kids going to camp Oasis (a camp for kids with these diseases). it also goes towards research and patent advocacy. I love any opportunity to get dressed up and this is definitely an opportunity to do so. Since I had been on a journey of weight loss my party dresses I had did not fit. Well then of course I had to get a new one.
I found this adorable Elizaj dress at Nordstrom (I have found many of my fancier dresses their). Elizaj makes comfortable and cute dresses that would look good on anyone. I love that many of her dresses and skirts have pockets (I can’t live without them). I got so many compliments on this dress. Not only at this event, but also at the wedding I went to the weekend before.
Other great features of this dress is it has bra clasp at the shoulders so your dress and bra are attached. I also like that it has a wide cloth pieces going right across your stomach area to help make you look skinnier. The neckline was perfect. It did not plunge to low (I did not have to worry about showing off to much). I love a good dress you can feel cute and confident in. Do you all have a dress like this? Comment below if you do.
