Buying a Couch is Like Picking out an Outfit to Wear…
Over the past six months I have been redecorating my apartment. All of the big pieces in my apartment have gone nicely with the 60s modern/ Hollywood glam style I am going with. I really love all my pieces, but after having my couch for a long time, it is time to get a new one. I had started couch shopping in the fall and thought at that time I wanted a modernish tufted couch in gray. But the other day I went looking again and I found this couch. I love navy blue so much and the comfortableness of soft cushions. This couch will go so nicely with the 60s modern couch I have that was my parent’s. This couch also has a timeless look that will go in any apartment I may live in and will go with any new piece of furniture I might get. Buying a couch is like shopping for an outfit in the store. You need to try them all out until you find the right one. Usually you have an idea of what you want, but some times that changes when you start looking around the store. There are a lot of stores that have great pieces of furniture and awesome couches.
West Elm- They have classic but modern looking furniture. They have everything from couches to dining room tables. I really like their accessories.
Boston Interiors- They were recently written up in HGTV magazine as one of the best furniture stores. Their pieces are very classic and comfortable. They definitely embody the feel of New England. They have everything from couches to beds. Their accessories are super cute. They have everything from lamps to pillows.
Crate and Barrel- They are a store that has so many great accessories and kitchen items. They have expanded in the last few years to have even more furniture. Their pieces are so classic they will last and be in style for a very long time. I love that their accessories, change color and patterns with the seasons, but always stay similar in style.
Room and Board- I have loved this store since my mom introduced me to it. They are a nod to the modern 60s look. They have great lighting that would look amazing in any room. They have lots of furniture from chairs to couches.
These are just a few of the many furniture stores out there, where I will be looking for my next crouch. What is your favorite furniture store?
